Congratulations to two past QATSIF students - Tia Gostelow (St Patrick’s College, Mackay) and Emily Wurramara (Mary MacKillop College) who took out major awards at the Queensland Music Awards.
Tia has made history by becoming the youngest recipient to claim Album of the Year at the Queensland Music Awards (QMAs).
Emily received the QMA Indigenous Award for her song ‘Lady Blue’. She also claimed the Blues and Roots award for ‘Tap Sticks’, which she wrote at the age of 11.
