Congratulations to Akayla McQuire on making the Indigenous All Stars team.
Akayla was a past QATSIF student from Beenleigh SHS who plays for the Burleigh Bears.
The Indigenous All Stars and Maori Ferns teams faced off at Melbourne’s AAMI Park on February 15 as part of a celebration that brought together the First Peoples of Australia and New Zealand.
The Maori Ferns won 8-4 in a hard fought game with our Indigenous All Stars.
